Medical Respite Study (2022–2023)
Field Researcher (Research Associate): Funded project studying the effectiveness of a medical respite facility providing convalescent care in the context of homelessness and unstable housing.
Reentry among Older and Elderly Men (2020–present)
Co-Principal Investigator. (Co-PI, Rick McCown, PhD, Duquesne University). Multi-method qualitative research, examining reentry following multi-decade periods of incarceration. Supported by Duquesne University's School of Education.
Criminality, Victimization, and Housing (2019–2020)
PI / Field Researcher: Mixed-method study into the relationship among housing, criminality, and victimization. This study was conducted within a permanent supportive housing program whose residents were previously exposed to chronic homelessness.
Street crime, Victimization, and Homelessness (2017–2020)
PI / Field Researcher. Multi-phase, qualitative interview-based study of crime-related behaviors, victimization, and safekeeping among adult and older people experiencing homelessness. Funded in part through an Indiana University research fellowship.
