This course focuses on the history, structure, and practice of criminal investigations. It describes the phases of the investigative process, including rime scene investigations, interview and interrogation, suspect identification, arrest, and the investigator’s role in the trial process. This course also discusses different categories of criminal behavior, including violent, property, vice, and other forms of criminal behavior, each from the perspective of criminal investigators.
